Special Event

Stop by anytime this week to participate in our Spring Book Swap.  Bring a book (or several!) from home and swap them for others.  All types and reading levels of books will be available to swap.  We just ask that books you bring in are in good condition.

It's World Read Aloud Day! It's amazing that it falls on a Wednesday when we already do our weekly "Read to Me" sessions.  So, stop by between 3-5 pm and a staff member will read to your child for 15 minutes or we will listen to your child read to us! Parents and caregivers are invited to join in, also.  No registration is necessary.

Stop by anytime this week to help yourself to any of the magazines that we are giving away.  Most are 2022 and you are welcome to take as many as you like.  They are great for reading or crafting! 

We are celebrating St. Patrick's Day in a sweet way.  Wear your green and stop by anytime today to receive a special "treat!" Just stop at the front desk to pick it up.  

This was such a fun event last year, we decided to do it again. All ages are invited to dress up in your most glittery sparkles and join us at our Unicorn Party! There will be snacks, crafts, activities and lots of unicorn fun! This is a come-and-go event so stop by if you can.  There is no registration and please call with questions.

All ages are invited to stop in to do our Indoor Obstacle Course.  Jump, stretch, turn-around and more as you venture to various areas of the library following the fun and interactive course.  This is just what you need on these cold winter days!  Fun for the whole family.

Join us on Sunday, December 15th at 2:00 pm for the return of our hugely popular Polar Express Event.  Entire families are invited to come to the Village Meeting Room (upstairs from the library) to watch the Polar Express movie, have a movie-themed snack and then visit with Santa! We will also have several characters from the movie with us including the Hobo and Conductor.

The Elves are BACK! This has become a fun holiday tradition here at the library.  There will be little Elves hidden all over the library.  Use the checklist to locate all of them and you will be entered in a random drawing for a $20 Amazon gift card! All ages are invited to participate.

Did you know that December 1st is National Cookie Cutter Day? To celebrate, stop by anytime December 1st, 2nd, or 3rd to participate in the Cookie Cutter Swap! Bring a cookie cutter or two and swap them out for other cookie cutters.  It's a great way to prepare for upcoming cookie baking without having to spend any money! 

November is Picture Book Month! We are celebrating by having a scavenger hunt.  Quite a few of your favorite characters from picture books will be hidden throughout the library.  Stop by and start the hunt!  Everyone that participates will be in a random drawing for a $10.00 Amazon gift card.
