Plan on joining us on Sunday, December 15th at 2:00 pm in the Village Council Chambers for our Polar Express event! We will watch the movie, have cookies and hot cocoa and there will be a visit from Santa after the movie at approximately 4:00 pm. Feel free to wear your pajamas, if you like! This has been a very popular event in the past and we look forward to seeing everyone this year, too. All ages are invited and be sure to bring your phone or camera to get pictures with Santa! This event is totally free. Please call us with any questions.
Mark your calendar for our yearly Holiday Craft Day on Monday, December 2 from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm. Stop in anytime that day to do a quick craft or two. This year we will have many craft choices including sand art ornaments, dinosaur ornaments, gift bag decorating, tree bookmarks and more! This event is free and open to all ages.
Join us for tons of fun and a chance for your child (and you!) to make new friends. Storytime is for ages 3-5 (kindergarteners are welcome, regardless of age) and Lapsit is for ages 0-36 months of age. We always read several books, sing songs and do a craft. There is no registration required and we love having new participants. The current session runs until Thanksgiving. The winter session will begin the week of January 6th. Check our calendar for dates and times. Please call or stop by with questions.
Thirty-six people joined in as local historian, Gloria Parsisson, took us on a tour of both cemeteries. There was interesting discussion of local history, families and folklore. It was a good weather night and all enjoyed cookies and a warm drink after. Thanks to all that attended, especially Sandy McCann for providing the battery operated candles and Gary Moore for the additional historical and local information.
