Special Event

This program will resume in March 2026.  Spend a few minutes reading to Cali and her owner, Karma.  They will be visiting us the first Saturday of each month from 11:00 am - noon.  The recommended age for this program is 5 years & older, as the goal is to increase reading skills & comfort with reading aloud. For this program, there is a requirement for preregistration and each reading "slot" is 10 minutes. Registration for the upcoming month will begin on the 15th of the previous month.

Let's get into the holiday spirit and wrap some presents! Bring your gifts that need wrapped and listen to music, have snacks and lots of fun! Bring your wrapping supplies from home or we will have some here that you may use. It's a come-and-go event, so stay as long or as little as you like.  We will wrap until 7:00 pm. All ages are invited but children should be accompanied by an adult. Hope to see you there!

Stop by between 10 am-3 pm today to make a quick fall/Halloween craft or two.  There will be a lot to choose from and all ages are invited to attend. All crafting supplies will be in our meeting room and you may stay as little or long as you like.  We will also have a fun scavenger hunt. Hope to see you there!

Stop by today between 10-3 and to color and relax for a few minutes! We will have coloring pages for all ages along with colored pencils, markers and crayons. No time to sit and color? Pick up a couple of coloring pages to take home and work on at your convenience. All ages are invited to participate.

 Join us for Golf in the Stacks! It's been several years since we have hosted this fun event and we are so excited about it! There will be multiple "holes" set up throughout the library and each "hole" will have a theme. We will supply everything you need including putters, balls and score cards. Stop by anytime from 10 am-3 pm to play and all ages are invited. Please call with questions!

Join Tina and Valorie as they have some fun connecting the dots between a good fiction book and a great recipe.  During "Cook the Book," they will discuss a fiction book and then demonstrate a recipe that was inspired by that book.  This will be a seasonal event on YouTube that you may view at your convenience.  You may find our YouTube channel by searching Centerburg Public Library on YouTube or by visiting our YouTube channel.
