Special Event

Stop by to see all the amazing creations from our staff and patrons at our first ever Tiny Sculpture Show. There is so much creativity in this community and we want you to stop by to see it! Participants were given air dry clay and came up with so many cool creations. This is a non-judged show and runs through April 30th.

Ready to dive into Spring and bring something fresh into your home? Stop by our Houseplant Exchange! Bring your extra houseplants or cuttings to exchange for something new. You are also welcome to bring and exchange houseplant accessories such as pots, pot decorations and drip catchers. All plants should be labeled and cuttings should be in a bag or container. This event was a big hit last year, so plan on joining the fun this year! Please call with questions.

Sarah Harper presents Catch an Art Thief! This is a fun and educational interactive program about Ohio art history. The thief, Carmen Ohio,  has traveled back in time and stolen art from several Ohio artists. Those attending will work together to solve puzzles to recover the stolen artwork. Then, there will be art stations that correspond with the works of art that were included in the presentation. You can use the different art mediums to create your own masterpiece to take home!

Of course, we know it's summer! But that's not going to stop us from having a STEM Skiing Challenge! All ages are invited to join us in the meeting room for this fun 45 minute activity.  Each participant will be given aluminum foil, craft sticks and tape. You will then use your supplies to build a foil skier and see if your skier can maneuver the downhill ski ramp. You might have to adjust your creation as you move from the Bunny Slope to the Black Diamond Slope! This is going to be so fun and we can't wait to see how creative you can be.

Today is the last day to turn in your completed reading logs to be entered in the gift card drawing.

It's almost Valentine's Day, so stop by for a sweet treat and a fun activity or two.  All ages invited!

Decorate your own pumpkin (real or artificial) and drop it off anytime during business

Spend a few minutes reading to Cali and her owner, Karma.  They will be visiting us the first Saturday of each month from 11:00 am - noon.  The recommended age for this program is 5 years & older, as the goal is to increase reading skills & comfort with reading aloud. For this program, there is a requirement for preregistration and each reading "slot" is 10 minutes. Registration for the upcoming month will begin on the 15th of the previous month.  If this falls on a Sunday or holiday, registration begins on the next business day.

Let's get into the holiday spirit and wrap some presents! Bring your gifts that need wrapped and have some snacks while wrapping your holiday goodies. This gives you the opportunity to wrap gifts in peace and without ruining anyone's surprise! Bring your wrapping supplies from home or we will have some here that you may use. It's a come-and-go event, so stay as long or as little as you like.  All ages are invited but children should be accompanied by an adult. Hope to see you there!

Stop by between 10 am-3 pm today to make a quick fall/Halloween craft or two.  There will be a lot to choose from and all ages are invited to attend. All crafting supplies will be in our meeting room and you may stay as little or long as you like.  We will also have a fun scavenger hunt. Hope to see you there!
