There are a limited number of spice kits and when they are gone, they are gone. Pick up a staff selected spice each month along with a suggested recipe. Use the spice in the suggested recipe or any other recipe during the month and return your spice "ticket" to be entered in a special drawing at the end of May. If you email or give us a written copy of the recipe that you made, you will receive an extra spice ticket and your recipe will be included in our 2026 Holiday Recipe Book.

This monthly challenge is for all ages and you may work on it individually or as a family or group.

Take a few minutes to complete our scavenger hunt & receive a sweet treat! There will be 12 fun & silly ghosts hidden around the library.  Can you find the skateboarding ghost or the cowboy ghost? What about the reading ghost or the baseball ghost? Join us on this fun scavenger hunt adventure! You may complete the scavenger hunt each time that you come into the library. All ages are invited to join the fun!

All ages are invited to stop by to do our St. Patrick's Day Scavenger Hunt. It will only take a few minutes and you might win some yummy candy! All scavenger hunt forms will be entered in the drawing and winner will be announced on Monday, March 23.   You may complete the Scavenger Hunt each day that you come into the library.

Stop by to see all the amazing creations from our staff and patrons at our first ever Tiny Sculpture Show. There is so much creativity in this community and we want you to stop by to see it! Participants were given air dry clay and came up with so many cool creations. This is a non-judged show and runs through April 30th. 

Ready to dive into Spring and bring something fresh into your home? Stop by our Houseplant Exchange! Bring your extra houseplants or cuttings to exchange for something new. You are also welcome to bring and exchange houseplant accessories such as pots, pot decorations and drip catchers. All plants should be labeled and cuttings should be in a bag or container. This event was a big hit last year, so plan on joining the fun this year! Please call with questions.

Sarah Harper presents Catch an Art Thief! This is a fun and educational interactive program about Ohio art history. The thief, Carmen Ohio,  has traveled back in time and stolen art from several Ohio artists. Those attending will work together to solve puzzles to recover the stolen artwork. Then, there will be art stations that correspond with the works of art that were included in the presentation. You can use the different art mediums to create your own masterpiece to take home!

Of course, we know it's summer! But that's not going to stop us from having a STEM Skiing Challenge! All ages are invited to join us in the meeting room for this fun 45 minute activity.  Each participant will be given aluminum foil, craft sticks and tape. You will then use your supplies to build a foil skier and see if your skier can maneuver the downhill ski ramp. You might have to adjust your creation as you move from the Bunny Slope to the Black Diamond Slope! This is going to be so fun and we can't wait to see how creative you can be.
