Join us in the Village Meeting Room as Ohio author, Marty Gitlin discusses his current book, "A Celebration of Animation."  He will talk about the greatest animated characters of all time--from the 1920's to present day.  There will be audience participation and even trivia.  So, come for a free evening of fun and laughs. This is geared to teens and adults, but content will be appropriate for all ages. Bring the whole family! Event will last approximately 1 hour. 

Join us in the Village Meeting Room as a representative from Armstrong Air & Space Museum comes to tell us about the "Science of Sound." There will be many fun hands-on activities and the audience will be learning about sounds on Earth and in space! Attendees will use different lengths of tubes to make different notes of  "music."  There will be time to explore, tinker and create their own music.  Appropriate for preschool through adults.  Program will last 30-45 minutes and is free!

Join us for bargains galore at our Book Sale! There will be books for all ages, CDs, audiobooks, DVDs and more! There will be items that we have removed from our shelves and items that were donated to us. Stop in during our regular business hours.  All items are available for a donation. Sign up in advance for this fun Spring event.  Participants will spend time planting and arranging a unique fairy garden and will leave with their creation to display at home. There is a fee for this class.   However, the fee has reduced by a generous donation from a local book club in memory of Lou Ann Adams.  Please call for further details.

If you are a child ages 5 and up, join OSU certified naturalists Tim and Jean Tahyi as they begin a new program, "Into the Woods."  This program will be held here at the library and will focus on fun and learning with topics such as mammals, reptiles, trees, and birds. This free program is made possible through the OSU Extension Service and Knox County Park District. It will be held the first Saturday of March, April and May from 1:00-2:00 PM. No registration needed and call for further information.

Join Gloria Parsisson as she shares her extensive knowledge of Centerburg history with a focus on trains in the area. Event will be upstairs from the library in the Village Council Chambers from 2-4 pm.  More details coming soon!
