Moon Week

Special events and activities each day this week to celebrate the upcoming eclipse! Attend any Moon Week event and just ask to receive special eclipse glasses (limit 1 per person--supplies are very limited). 

Monday 4/1/24: Space Storytimes 11 am & 6 pm and Space Race (all day).  Space Race is a scavenger hunt to find all that you need to travel to space! Space Race will be going on the entire week.

Tuesday 4/2/24: Space Storytime 11 am and Space Race (all day).  Space Race is a scavenger hunt to find all that you need to travel to space! Space Race will be going on the entire week.

Wednesday 4/3/24: Eclipse Chalk Art (all day), Intergalactic Art (Preteen/Teen/Adult only at 6 pm), Virtual Space Storytime 6:30 pm (Facebook & Instagram) and Space Race (all day).  Space Race is a scavenger hunt to find all that you need to travel to space! Space Race will be going on the entire week.

Thursday 4/4/24: Space Bingo 6 pm and Space Race (all day).  Space Race is a scavenger hunt to find all that you need to travel to space! Space Race will be going on the entire week.

Friday 4/5/24: Space Surprise Day 10 am - 5 pm (stop by to see what surprises we have for you!) and Space Race (all day).  Space Race is a scavenger hunt to find all that you need to travel to space! Space Race will be going on the entire week.

Saturday 4/6/24: Astronaut Camp 10 am - 3 pm (all ages welcome but geared to preschool through elementary age).  This is a come-and-go event.  Visit the stations to see if you have what it takes to be a space traveler! Also, Space Race (all day).  Space Race is a scavenger hunt to find all that you need to travel to space! 

Monday 4/8/24: Total Solar Eclipse Day! Library is closed today, but if any eclipse glasses remain they will be in a waterproof tote outside of our front door and you may help yourself to them.
