Join us at this well-attended and wonderful program with Jean Tahyi, Master Gardener. This is a recurring program that will be offered the third Monday of every month. It will cover many topics including house plants, bulbs, vegetables, annuals and composting. Novice and experienced gardeners are invited. Each session will last 1 - 1 1/2 hours. The library will host a "Discovering Your Ancestors" workshop presented by volunteers from the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. DAR is a lineage-based organization for women who are directly descended from a person involved in the Revolutionary War. Topics include: organizational skills, source checklist, using census and court records. Event will be from 1:00-2:30 p.m. in the Centerburg Village Council Hall (above the library). The workshop is free but registration is required and limited to 25 participants.
Library Mini "Lock-In" for 3rd,4th and 5th Graders from 7:30-10:30. Parents must fill out required paperwork at door prior to dropping off child. Unfortunately, we have reached our maximum number of participants and the registration is FULL. Only registered participants may attend.
